Contrary to popular belief men don't want to have sex all the time.
In a survey conducted on 1000 people by AdamandEve.com, adult toy experts, 66% of men say they come up with an excuse not to have sex with their partner, with 74% of those men saying they do so between one and five times per month.
Chad Davis, director of marketing for Adam and Eve told the New York Daily News that many men feel they have to make excuses to cover up for the fact that they don't want to have sex.
Here are the most common excuses men make to avoid sex:
1. I'm tired/I'm sleepy.
2. I have a headache.
3. I have to get up early tomorrow/I have to work the next day.
4. I don't feel well/I have body aches/I'm sore/I'm in pain.
5. I am under stress/too distracted.
The survey revealed that their spouses became angry, frustrated, upset or sad after they were refused sex and 34% of men said their partner have caught them lying about not wanting to have sex.
